Teaching guitar
Active in the Trentino area since 2015, Luca has collaborated with the associations EMUS, APPM Trento and River Boys as a guitar and music teacher. Currently offers both private lessons and through EMUS school: lessons cover from basic subjects such as chords or pentatonic scales up to advanced studies on techniques like sweep | hybrid picking, modal improvisation, study of musical language, gear set-up and production with Logic Pro X.For more information on availability and syllabus program, contact by email, see the footer
Music formation
Luca approached electric guitar during high school, inspired by musicians such as John Petrucci and Tosin Abasi, chose to focus on extended range guitars (like Ibanez RGA8 or *Strandberg Boden 7). Subsequently he graduates in Jazz composition at CDM studying with teacher Dario Faiella, where he developed his knowledge and articulation in jazz music.
After completing his Jazz studies, he’s involved in the production of arrangements and original composition focused on guitar and unconventional times signature; afterwards he enrolled at MMI with master Andrea Cofrancesco and recently with Andy Martongelli.
Luca attended masterclasses of some of the world’s most influential guitarists and musicians: Mike Stern, Guther Govan, Tosin Abasi, Paul Gilbert, Kiko Loureiro, Frank Gambale, Federico Malamann, Jim Mullen, Marty Friedman, Kerry King, Stanley Jordan, Henrik Linder, Stefano Barone, Faso & Meyer, Sheila Jordan and many others.
Producer and arranger, he plays piano and electric bass in addition to guitar: now he’s building his personal EP called “Liquid Season” formed by progressive-music tracks, with influences from jazz to technical metal. He also collaborates with the big band River Boys (as bassist), Mating Call Trio, Rio Jam Project and a self-titled acoustic duo project.
